Greg Wise and his dance partner Karen Hauer have seemed to work well together on Strictly Come Dancing so far, having survived the first elimination. However, some eagle eyed fans have noticed a recent change between the pair and suspect they could be feuding. The suspicions arose after viewers saw Greg and Karen interviewed on BBC Strictly spin-off show It Takes Two on Tuesday evening.

The dance duo chatted to It Takes Two host Rylan Clark-Neal about their time in the competition so far.

However, viewers were left puzzled by the seating arrangements on the show.

Fans on Twitter suggested Greg and Karen were sitting too far apart from each other, speculating that there may be tension between the two.

@Zoetnet commented: “#Strictly @karen_hauer and Greg on #ItTakesTwo very negative body language. She doesn’t like him….”

“#ItTakesTwo can Greg and Karen sit any further apart?? No other couples sit miles apart. This is a very strange relationship,” @MJ_JJ061215 said.

“The difference in body language between Greg/Karen and Rhys/Nancy is STARK #ItTakesTwo #itt,” @uisgebeatha added.

Despite the comments, Karen praised Greg and highlighted his hard work in the competition.

“He’s so good at lifts. It’s about trust,” Karen explained.

While chatting on the show, the couple revealed they would be doing a James Bond themed dance next weekend.

They’ll be performing a Paso Doble themed around the iconic British spy for Strictly’s Movie Week.

Greg detailed his excitement for the new routine, confessing he had previously asked the producers if he could dance to the Bond theme.

However, Karen and Greg aren’t the only couple to have received negative comments about their lack of chemistry.

Katie McGlynn and her partner Gorka Marquez have also come under fire from Strictly viewers in the past week.

After seeing the couple dance on Saturday’s show, fans took to Twitter to comment on some suspected tension between them.

@sashaholly_ said: “Gorka and Katie DO NOT like each other #Strictly.”

“Gorka looked really annoyed and Katie was barely clapping. I thought they seemed a bit off with each other last week but this week it was really obvious,” @corinisamazing added.

“Ok. I’m going to say it… There seems to be a weird vibe between Katie McGlynn and Gorka on #strictly. Not a ‘sexy’ vibe but a discomfort or a niggle… picked up on it last week and there it was again tonight. Weird, right?” @Angeloola76 said.

However, Gorka hit back at the Strictly viewers who’d commented on their dance partnership in a post on Instagram.

After thanking fans for their support he added: “And to those who think that we aren’t getting on, keep thinking it.”

Express.co.uk has contacted representative’s of Greg and Karen for comment.

Strictly Come Dancing continues Saturday at 6:45pm on BBC One.
