Kirsty Gallacher talks Danny Cipriani split
Strictly Come Dancing’s Danny Cipriani has opened up about being partnered with champion Jowita Przystał in the Christmas special following his split from his wife. The 36-year-old had nothing but praise as he gushed over his professional partner. He commented: “It’s been a whirlwind of an experience.
“It’s a blessing to step into Jowita’s world and for her to teach me some special moves, but also the humility and the grace that she works under. It’s the essence of who she is while being an absolute genius at what she does.”
Paying tribute to Jowita, Danny described the dancer as world-class and humble, stating it’s nice to be around someone like her. Although Jowita shares similar views on Danny admitting she loved getting to know the sports star.
She added: “Danny understands my crazy. I just met him and said, right, this is the lift, this is the step, this is the trick. He just looked at me and was like, ‘OK, cool, let’s do it’.

“There was no hesitation. He’s just an absolute trooper. He learnt the dance so quickly, we can switch the roles because he can teach me to dance, he’s got the moves.”
Fans of the BBC show will be able to see Danny and Jowita hit the dance floor on Christmas Day as they tackle the classic hit Celebration by Kool & the Gang.
Danny’s Strictly appearance is set to happen shortly after splitting from his wife of four years Victoria Rose.
Taking to Instagram in a recent Q&A, Victoria opened up on the split as she confessed she knew the break-up was coming.

With one follower questioning their split, Victoria replied: “This must be the most asked question I’ve got at the moment.
“I knew it was coming. I’m ready for it. Acceptance, let it go with love. Embrace the pain, suffer it, let it wash over you, and feel it deeply, it’s a necessary part of the process.”
Announcing the split on a social media post in mid-November, Danny admitted that although the marriage breakdown was sad news, it’s a new chapter for them both.
One of those chapters appears to be taking to the dancefloor as he battles for the Silver Star trophy.
Taking part this year in the special is EastEnders star Jamie Borthwick, who has been partnered with Nancy Xu along with broadcaster Dan Snow who will be dancing with Nadiya Bychkova.
BBC Breakfasts Sally Nugent has been matched with Graziano Di Prima while Tillie Amartey will be with Neil Jones
Also hoping to take the championship is Keisha Bunchanan and her professional partner is Gorka Marquez.
The Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special will air on Christmas Day at 4.40pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
