LIVERPOOL are demanding £15million for their No2 keeper Simon Mignolet, according to reports.

The Belgian's role has been heavily reduced following the arrival of Alisson as he played in just two games last season – both of which the Reds lost.

Jurgen Klopp deployed Mignolet, 31, in a Carabao Cup clash with Chelsea in September and an FA Cup match against Wolves.

The Reds crashed out of both competitions, losing both games 2-1.

And according to the Mail, the Belgium international is not in Klopp's plans and will be let go if Reds are offered £15m for his services.

Bournemouth, Watford and newly-promoted Norwich are all looking for new goalkeepers this summer and could be among potential suitors.

But Liverpool are expected to play hard ball with the teams interested in signing the shot stopper despite his diminished role at Anfield.

The Reds managed to get Crystal Palace to shell out £27m for Mamadou Sakho in 2017 despite the French defender being effectively frozen out of the squad.

Mignolet joined the Reds in 2013, narrowly missing out on the Prem crown in his premiere season in England under Brendan Rodgers.

Meanwhile, Klopp's top transfer target Julian Brandt is set to snub a move to Merseyside.

The Bayer Leverkusen star is believed to be on the verge of signing for Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund this summer.
