A GROOMING gang victim who was raped by more than 100 men has revealed SHE – not her vile attackers – was repeatedly arrested by police.

Cassie Pike was a vulnerable and troubled 11-year-old when her nightmare began.

She suffered a hellish five years being trafficked around the country, abused by multiple men and was eventually driven to attempted suicide.

Despite her traumatic experience, cops in Halifax, West Yorkshire, reportedly turned a blind eye to the exploitation.

When Cassie was loaded with drugs by predators to make it easier to rape her, police issued her with a warning for possessing the narcotics.

She was even arrested for facilitating a child sex offence after getting into an abusers's car with another underage girl, according to reports.

Now 23, Cassie told the Mirror: “I was arrested around five times in total, but nothing ever seemed to happen to the men who were abusing me.

I was only 15 and they were in complete control of my life. How could they suggest it was me that was the criminal?

“No wonder I thought I was to blame. I was so hurt and so confused – especially when they suggested it was my fault another girl had been abused.

“I was only 15 and they were in complete control of my life. How could they suggest it was me that was the criminal?”

As the years of sexual abuse continued, Cassie inevitably fell pregnant – but her baby's father could have been on of dozens of men.

After having an abortion she tried to take her own life by swallowing a cocktail of pills.

The rapes continued for years, with one attacker striking her with a hammer just hours before she was due to sit a GCSE exam.

She finally went to police in 2011 after hearing about the high profile grooming gangs case in Rochdale.

Police found 100 numbers on my phone – but I was raped by loads more.

The victim helped courts cage 18 of the men who had destroyed her childhood after a complex police probe.

They were put away for a total of 168 years in one of the UKs biggest ever child exploitation cases.

An official review of the investigation reportedly revealed authorities failed to act on warning that Cassie was being abused and exploited by scores of predators.

Cassie, who has been placed in police protection, added: “I’ve had phone calls from family members of the men who have gone to jail.

"They’ve spent hours on the phone to me, telling me they are going to find out where I live so they can kill me.

“It’s terrifying. I’m happy some of the men are now in jail, but they won’t be there forever."

She described being "devastated" that the majority of men avoided jail.

"Police found 100 numbers on my phone – but I was raped by loads more," she said. "They're probably still preying on other children. I bet nothing will happen to them."
