PG TIPS has released a tea for dogs — and dubbed it a “cuppa for your puppa”.

The brand’s English Breakwoof tea package includes 10 drinks for the pooch as well as 40 ordinary tea bags for the owner.

Its dog-friendly brew blends burdock, dandelion, flax, nettle, seaweed, and rooibos. It has no caffeine or preservatives and must be served cold.

PG Tips teamed up with pet drinks firm Woof & Brew to create the £9.99 limited edition drink to celebrate International Dog Day on Thursday.

It can be bought from Woof & Brew online. All profits go to charity Support Dogs, which provides, trains and supports assistance dogs for people with various medical conditions.

Marketing manager at PG Tips Charlotte Ridley said: “Our social media is often flooded with fans sharing images of them enjoying a cuppa alongside their furry friends.

“As a nation of dog-lovers, we knew we had to get the pooches in on the action too.

“Pups no longer need feel left out when their owners are relaxing with a cup of tea — they can now enjoy a special cuppa themselves!”

Woof & Brew co-founder Steve Bennett said: “We’re thrilled to have partnered with PG tips on such a meaningful project.”
