Brooks Koepka, the 29-year-old U.S. Open winner from Florida, began Sunday’s final round of the PGA Championship at Bethpage Black, Long Island, with a seven-shot lead when Jena Sims leaned in twice for a sweet show of affection before he teed off.
But Koepka appeared too in the zone to respond to Sims’ overtures and his girlfriend pulled back folding her arms sheepishly, awkward footage from the event shows.

Sims gets close to him twice and tries to give him a kiss but he shrugs it off and continues walking. When she goes back in again, the golfer pulls back – to the ire of his girlfriend, who folds her arms and walks ahead of him.

Speaking about their relationship to Golf.com on Saturday, Sims said: ‘I’m so not discreet.
‘I’ll just wave, and he’ll tip his hat. I’ll blow him a kiss. I’m not trying to be too low-key. If I see him and he sees me, I’m like, ‘Hi!’
The awkward encounter was quickly shared on Twitter and drew a number of hilarious responses.
