Even the most loyal Real Housewives of New Jersey fans can admit that all seasons are not created equal. Specifically, Season 6 is one of those forgotten seasons; It was the season that filmed right before Teresa Giudice went to jail. It aired in 2014, and since production was delayed until her release, the following season didn’t return until two full years later, which is not typical for the show. After so much time in between seasons, it was easy to forget Season 6 when Season 7 started airing. Plus, the storylines among the women just weren’t that memorable.

Additionally, the cast majorly shifted from Season 6 to Season 7. Season 7 brought the return of Jacqueline Laurita and the introduction of Dolores Catania and Siggy Flicker. Season 6 was Dina Manzo’s brief comeback season, which also included Amber Marchese and twin sisters Nicole Napolitano and Teresa Aprea, whose first name is pronounced “Ter-eh-sa,” not to be confused with Teresa Giudice. All four of them were never a part of the show again.

Even Andy Cohen described Season 6 as the “one season that you could maybe skip” during a Watch What Happens Live episode in 2020. RHONJ Season 6 is the Las Vegas of the show, and that’s not for all its fun times, but because what happened in Season 6, stays in Season 6. Even so, the former cast members still have lives after the show. So, what have the RHONJ twins been up to since their season?

Teresa Aprea and Nicole Napolitano are under the radar

During Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 6, Victoria Gotti said Teresa Aprea’s husband Rino Aprea cheated with Aprea’s mother (per Us Weekly). Teresa Giudice spread that gossip, which understandably angered Aprea and her twin, Nicole Napolitano. However, Giudice and the twins ended up becoming good friends after all that. In 2016, Nicole told Bravo’s The Daily Dish, “right after the reunion, everything was amazing.” Teresa even mentioned the twins in the dedication of her book Turning the Tables: From Housewife to Inmate and Back Again.

During the Season 10 reunion, which aired in 2020, Giudice said she would love for the twin sisters to return to the show. However, that doesn’t seem like it’s ever going to happen. Since leaving RHONJ, they’ve been pretty private. Just like most reality stars, they hosted a podcast, Girls in Heels, but they haven’t released an episode since 2016. The Apreas still own and run their restaurants, Ponte Vecchio and Angelo’s. Fun fact: Giudice told People that her first post-prison meal was lobster from one of their restaurants.

While most former reality stars become social media influencers, Aprea doesn’t endorse products on Instagram. Instead, she shares family photos every once in a while. As for Nicole, it doesn’t even seem like she’s on social media. While RHONJ Season 6 is far from the show’s best season, the most loyal fans will never forget the twins, even if they seemingly prefer lives away from the spotlight.
