Kim Tate (Claire King) is about to get the shock of her life in Emmerdale, as Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) confesses the truth about DI Malone’s (Mark Womack) murder.

The Home Farm legend is concerned in upcoming scenes when Will loses it with Ellis Chapman (Aaron Antony) over the location of the base camp for the survival event.

Wasting little time, she confronts him on the matter, ordering him to explain why he’s adamant that the base camp must be moved.

As seen in the above clip – taken from Wednesday’s (October 13) edition of the ITV soap – Will claims he’s worried about the welfare of the birds in the area.

‘He’s making any excuse!,’ said actor Dean Andrews about the scenes in question. ‘About pheasants, and the running of the place.

‘”We don’t want to disturb the birds we could just do this somewhere else, it’ll be fine!”. All the usual [excuses] when someone is trying to cover their back!’

Kim, however, knows full well that there’s more to it than that, and thus she pleads with Will to open up.

‘I know it’s late,’ she says, ‘but I love you too.’

Will contemplates coming clean, but he struggles with his anxiety.

Subsequent scenes will see the character reveal all to Kim, confirming that Malone’s body is buried on her land.

‘I don’t think she gets him to confess,’ added Dean. ‘I think the situation gets to such a place that he needs to come clean to her, as she can reverse that decision [about the base camp] once she’s in receipt of the info.

‘He feels like they’re a good partnership and she’ll understand. So he confesses to get out of it, really!’.

Will Kim assist Will?

Emmerdale airs these scenes Wednesday October 13 at 7pm on ITV.
