Little Mix singers Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock have all appeared to have unfollowed their former band member Jesy Nelson on Instagram. The move comes a day after the star hit back at allegations of blackfishing in her new music video, stating she’s “very aware that I’m a white British woman.”

The star released her solo debut single BOYZ yesterday and has seemingly been unfollowed by her three former band mates.
Perrie, Leigh-Anne and Jade no longer follow the star on the social media platform.
However, the official Little Mix account still follows her.
Ahead of BOYZ release, Jesy unfollowed everyone apart from two accounts.
The singer followed rappers Nicky Minaj and Sean Combs, otherwise known as P Diddy, whose song Bad Boys For Life was featured on her track.
Jesy defended herself after critics accused her of blackfishing, which is a term used to describe non-Black people who have changed their appearance to appear Black or racially ambiguous, via the use of make-up, hairstyles, or cosmetic procedures.
The allegations emerged after the pop star released her debut solo single Boyz and its music video.
According to critics, Jesy has a very tanned complexion in the video.
Speaking to Vulture, the singer said she appreciated Black culture, but stressed she is “very aware” she is white.
She said: “The whole time I was in Little Mix I never got any of that.
“And then I came out of [the band] and people all of a sudden were saying it.
“I wasn’t on social media around that time, so I let my team [deal with it], because that was when I’d just left,” she explained.

Jesy went on: “But I mean, like, I love Black culture. I love Black music.
“That’s all I know; it’s what I grew up on.”
She concluded: “I’m very aware that I’m a white British woman.
“I’ve never said that I wasn’t,” she ended her statement.
Elsewhere, Jesy revealed she hadn’t spoken to her former band mates since her exit last year.
Jesy candidly admitted: “I haven’t spoken to the girls.
“It is weird because for so many years we were as close as sisters, together every hour of the day for weeks, sharing beds, laughing, crying just 24/7 the four of us together and then…
“Nothing,” she told Glamour magazine, revealing that she hopes they can all be friends again in the future.
