Love Island viewers have branded Dami Hope as “childish” after he hit out at Indiyah Polack for chosing to couple up with someone from Casa Amor.

Last weekend, the girls were shipped off to the secret second villa and went on to be greeted with a handful of new boys.

One of the new boys included Deji Adeniyi, who had a connection with Indiyah. While things at the villa seemed to be going quite well with Dami, Indiyah decided to “go with her head” and pursue things with Deji, bringing him back to the villa on Thursday night’s episode.

Dami was far from pleased with Indiyah’s choice, despite having his new partner Summer Botwe sat by his side.

Addressing Dami’s unimpressed reaction, Indiyah said: “It is what it is.”

“Until it isn’t,” added Dami from the other side of the firepit.

In the wake of his reaction, Love Island viewers have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts, and branded the Irishman as “salty” and “childish”.

One person said: “dami is so childish you were the one doing up 3 way kiss but your chest is doing up last last cause indiyah recoupled pls”.

“Dami is so childish please, like grow up. You’re just salty she beat you at your own game #LoveIsland”, added another.

A third person went on: “Dami is acting f*cking childish he’s been so disrespectful this whole week, at least Indiyah handled this with respect”.

“These boys are so hypocritical. They recouple but when the girls do it they're acting jealous and completely childish. Seems completely unfair ngl,” added a fourth.

“Not Dami recoupling, Indiyah also recoupling and Dami being jealous and salty about it, welcome to destiny’s childish,” another person said, giving the nod to the explosive argument between Amber Gill and Michael Griffiths on the show on 2019.

While things turned sour between Indiyah and Dami, other recouplings went slightly more smoothly.

First up to choose was Jay Younger, who picked Chyna Mills, after he had previously been partnered with Danica Taylor.

However, it was no love lost, as Danica had decided to couple up with new boy Josh Le Grove.

Next was Davide Sancliment who decided to stay with Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu despite getting to know Mollie Salmon. However, Ekin-Su decided to remain loyal for Davide as they paired up again.

Meanwhile, Luca Bish – of course – stayed loyal to Gemma Owen.
