Rumors swirled that Jill Duggar was on the outs with her famous family. While Jill’s husband, Derick Dillard, spoke out about the family rift before Jill, it’s Jill who’s coming forward with the facts now. And she’s explained exactly why she and Derick chose to take a serious step away from Counting On.

Now, it looks like Jill and Derick found a new way of making money, too. Here’s what they’re up to.

Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard just joined Cameo

The Duggars are no strangers to the internet, as many of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s kids have joined Instagram and Facebook. But it looks like Jill and Derick have officially joined Cameo, a site that allows celebrities to send video greetings out to fans for a fee.

“Hey guys, just wanted to let ya’ll know that I just joined Cameo,” Jill announced on her Instagram Stories on Nov. 5, 2020. “So, if you want any shout-outs or anything like that, swipe up and it’ll take you straight there.” In Jill’s following Instagram story, she announced Derick also joined the site.

On Jill’s cameo page, she added a small bio to introduce herself and her pricing tiers. Jill takes shout-out requests for $79 and 10-minute chats for $4.99. As for Derick’s cameo, he offers requests for $49 and the same rate for a quick chat. We’re not sure how much business the couple’s received so far for the venture, but we’re hoping it’s fruitful for them!

They aren’t the only Duggars to join the platform

It doesn’t look like Jill and Derick are the first from Jill’s family to join the platform. Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo also joined Cameo back in 2019.

“Hey, guys! What’s going on? I wanted to let you know that I am on Cameo now,” Jeremy explained in a clip, according to In Touch Weekly. “So you can check out my profile. I’d love to give you a shout out or your buddies, whoever, for a birthday or just to say what’s up.”

Prior to Jeremy joining, Jinger also told her fans she’d be on the site, according to In Touch Weekly. “Hey, guys! Jinger Vuolo here,” she stated in a video. “I’m so happy to be on Cameo and I would love to do any shout outs for your friends, family, coworkers for birthdays, anniversaries, whatever it may be. So hit me up in the messages!”

Jinger and Jeremy joining Cameo came right around the time Jinger was pulling out all the stops to become an influencer. Unfortunately, it wasn’t working out for her, as a number of partners dropped their sponsorships.

Does this mean Jill and Derick are done with ‘Counting On’ for good?

Now that Jill and Derick have found new means of making money, does this mean they’re permanently steering clear of Counting On? We’re not sure. While the couple explained why they left the show in the first place, it seems they’re leaving the door open for a possible reconciliation.

As Derick told The Sun, “We would only consider doing filming if we had a say in the terms of our arrangement.”

This statement came along with Derick explaining that the Duggars and all other show participants were “strongly discouraged” from speaking out how TLC paid them. And he assumed no one was making money from the show for a long time. It was only later when he and Jill fought for their earnings.

We’ll have to wait and see what happens with Jill and Derick in regards to TV. For now, we’ll catch them on Cameo!
