ANNA Maxwell Martin may not be winning hearts with her character DCS Carmichael in season six of Line of Duty.

But the 43-year-old actress's stunning home is sure to bowl you over, with it's chic decor and her adorable little dog who is often pictured enjoying it.

Anna, who plays the widely-hated detective chief superintendent in the BBC One drama, is often spotted relaxing in her living room.

The open space features large, bay windows to let in plenty of natural light, as well as a host of cosy lamps for evenings in on the sofa.

Furnished with a large white and grey sofas placed around the room, it's tied together with a multi-coloured circular rug.

A matching ottoman is carefully placed under the window, including a large blanket throw, where her rescue dog Bobby is often seen relaxing.

Elsewhere there looks to be a second, smaller living room with a red sofa and blue rug for watching TV and catching up on the Line of Duty latest.

There's plenty of space for Anna's two daughters, Maggie and Nancy, to play in between two wooden coffee tables.

The home also has a large dining table where the family have been seen home-schooling the children.

Anna photographed her older daughter at the cream table, which features matching wooden and cream chairs, while "online learning".

Throughout, the entire downstairs of the home is fitted with oak wooden floors, where little Bobby likes to lie down.

Meanwhile, upstairs the master bedroom overlooks the skyline of Letchworth in Hertfordshire.

The large double bed has been placed in the middle of the room for a perfect view of the sunset.

The star appears to enjoy being woken up by the sunrise too, as the large window in the room lacks blinds or curtains.

While Anna and her film director ex-husband Roger Michell went their separate ways last year, the actress keeps a doll named "Freddy" in her bed.

"He's a fella, and my one true love," she wrote under a photo of the doll placed upside-down on the white bed frame.

Outside, the home is surrounded by plenty of gorgeous countryside, including fields of open space for walking the Terrier pup.

Earlier today, Anna left This Morning fans "in fits" as she cackled throughout the ENTIRE interview with hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.

The TV star appeared on the breakfast show to speak about her character, but a number of viewers were left distracted by Anna's constant laughing.

The actress chuckled her way through the interview, but presenter Holly was left convinced that Anna's reaction was really a rouse to stop the hosts from asking any probing questions about the upcoming storyline.

Meanwhile, Anna explained that her character was "misunderstood" and joked that her character "probably just wants a nice cuddle".

Phil asked the actress if her character was insecure, with Anna bursting into fits of giggles, replying: "Of course she is, you have no idea what is going on at Pat's house. She could be going through all sorts. She's a bit of a power freak I suppose."

The battleaxe returned to the hit BBC One police thriller last week to cause more mayhem among the anti-corruption team.

She nearly saw her AC-12 nemesis, Supt Ted Hastings, banged up as a bent copper after she was brought in to investigate from rival unit, AC-3.

Viewers were last night left convinced that that hated DCS Patricia Carmichael is the shadowy 'H' after the explosive episode.
