A Friends reunion looks set to finally be happening – 25 years after it first hit screens.

According to reports in the US, all six stars of the hit show are in talks to work together once more.

Hope for a reunion has been high ever since Jennifer Aniston broke the internet with that epic snap of her and her co-stars together.

Now, The Hollywood Reporter says talks are underway for a Friends special, with Jennifer, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Scwimmer, Matthew Perry and Matt LeBlanc all on board.

The show's creators David Crane and Marta Kauffman are said to be involved too.

However, sources have stressed that no deals have actually been made yet, but the fact that everyone is willing to come together once more is promising.

Once a deal is struck, the tricky task of creating a schedule around everyone's busy lives will be next.

It comes after Jennifer's incredible reunion snap.

The actress, who rose to fame as Rachel Green on the hit sitcom, recently signed up to  Instagram  – and blew everyone away with her first ever post.

The star racked up more than 11 million followers in just one day, thanks to that epic selfie of her and the gang.

In the snap, Jenifer poses up with Lisa (Phoebe Buffay), Matthew (Chandler Bing), Courteney (Monica Gellar), Matt (Joey Tribbiani) and David (Ross Gellar).

She captioned it: "And now we’re Instagram FRIENDS too. HI INSTAGRAM"

And it seems Jen explained the picture before it had even gone viral.

Speaking on The Howard Stern Show on October 7, she said: "We just had dinner this week the whole gang."

Howard asked: "Everyone was there? Why? Is that something that is unusual or..?"

Jen, 50, explained: "No, it's just Schwimmer was in town and we all happened to have a window of time so we got together."

Howard probed Jen to find out more about the on-screen Friends, asking: "You really like them?"

She said: "Oh my God, we laughed so hard, yes."

Howard then asked if no one in the crew annoys her.

She said: "Not one, lightning in a bottle."

The Hollywood star said they'd all gone round to Courteney's for dinner, mirroring the way the whole gang would hang out at chef Monica's apartment on the show.

When asked if anything went down people should know about, Jen joked: "No, nobody got naked, it was very civilised."

Howard asked if it felt like being back on the set, Jen told him: "We miss it every day."

"I would be nothing without it," she added.
