Married at First Sight Australia returned for an eighth outing earlier this year Down Under but UK fans have only recently been able to catch up on the latest series on E4. There have been rows galore during commitment ceremonies and at the dinner table between newlyweds and they have taken their toll on some of their marriages when some home truths were told.

WARNING: This article contains spoilers from Married at First Sight Australia.

Cameron Dunne and Samantha Harvey were the third couple to tie the knot in season eight of MAFSA.

While the experts believed they could make the perfect pair, there didn’t seem to be a real spark between them sadly.

However, Cam did find a connection with his co-star Coco Stedman who had been married to Sam Carraro.

This proved to be the start of all the drama as they wished to have been paired together.

Their flirting led to secret meetings behind their partners’ backs and later on a kiss.

Coco even confessed to Cam’s bride that she thought she was “better suited to Cameron”.

By this point, Samantha had had enough, taking off her wedding ring and claiming she was done.

Both couples agreed to end their marriages as neither were happy with the situation.

So do Cameron and Coco stay on MAFSA to pursue their flirtations?

Unfortunately, neither of them decided to stay when their marriages came to an end.

But in a way, they did leave together as they wanted to carry on seeing one another in the outside world.

As Australian fans are already aware though, their romance didn’t last.

Cam and Coco split up shortly after the cameras were turned off and they left the show.

Speaking to 9 Entertainment, Cam did say there had been a conversation asking if they would come back to the experiment together but he simply said “it just wasn’t the case”.

He continued to explain part of the reason why they stopped seeing one another is because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Coco was staying in Sydney at the time, whereas Cam was going to Queensland.

Series eight is currently playing out on E4 in the UK after coming out earlier this year in Australia.

So far, there has been no talk of the reality show returning for a ninth season.

But given the show’s international popularity, it is probable we will see more strangers getting hitched in the near future.

Married at First Sight Australia is available to watch on E4.
