Ant and Dec return to television screens tomorrow night with another live instalment of their Saturday Night Takeaway. However, ITV have announced the season finale at Walt Disney World Florida has been cancelled due to the coronavirus outbreak.

For the last few years, Ant and Dec have flown out a few hundred fans to America to end the series with an almighty bang.

This year, the 300 fans were meant to accompany the TV stars to Orlando for the finale show on April 4, but the broadcaster and show producers have made the decision to axe the event after the theme park has shut down.

It seems the finale show will take place in London, in the studio like the other live shows, but details are still being finalised.

An ITV spokesman told The Mirror: “We will no longer be broadcasting the Saturday Night Takeaway finale from Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.

Tomorrow night’s show is still occurring with extra precautions in place for the studio audience attendees.

Anyone showing symptoms, have recently returned from international travel, or are within a group defined as vulnerable to coronavirus are being advised to stay at home and enjoy Saturday Night Takeaway from the comfort of their television screen.

The spokesman added: “All of our audience handling agencies are sharing the updated advice from the NHS site with audiences prior to attending our shows and we continue to work them to update advice as and when it changes.

“Our priority is the well-being and safety of all our people and everyone who works with us on our shows and across our business.
