Naomi Campbell isn’t taking any risks when it comes to coronavirus.

The supermodel, 49, has always been a germaphobe and recently has documented her extensive airplane seat-cleaning routine on her YouTube channel.

However, with the rise of COVID-19 and the declaration of the virus as a pandemic, Campbell is stepping her routine up a notch to include a full hazmat suit, mask, goggles and gloves. In a new video posted to her channel, she explains the reasoning behind the extreme measures and gives fans a look inside her most recent flight from Los Angeles to New York City.

While getting acupuncture ear seeds put in, Campbell says “I was doing the seat cleaning for 15 or 17 years, it’s not new for me.”

Then she shows off her outfit: a $16 coverall suit from Amazon underneath a Burberry cape.

Campbell accessorizes with googles, which she says Linda Evangelista suggested, and latex gloves. “It’s not a funny time, it’s not a humorous time, I’m not doing this for laughs,” she insists. “This is how I feel comfortable traveling if I have to travel; I’m trying to keep it to a minimum.”

While in the car, Campbell eats two packets of a vitamin C solution and another immunity-boosting supplement before entering LAX. She later criticized the TSA workers for not wearing gloves while handling passports and said that the flight attendants also did not wear gloves.

Despite her extreme measures, Campbell insisted in the video and its description that the public should not respond to the pandemic with fear.
