Coronation Street couple Ryan Connor (played by Ryan Prescott) and Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) could be torn apart in upcoming weeks as Daisy Midgley (Charlotte Jordan Evans) conjures up a cruel plan to trap him. The newcomer has been eyeing up Ryan for a while, knowing full well he is already in a relationship and ITV viewers could potentially see Daisy take advantage of very drunk Ryan. Will she then lie and say she is pregnant with his baby in a bid to separate him from Alya?

Next week, Alya tells Ryan that Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) is looking for a trainee manager at the Bistro and she convinces him he would be good for the job.

Viewers will see Ryan reluctantly agree to apply but when he tells Daisy about the position, she persuades him he is better than working at a poxy Bistro.

The barmaid says she knows an easy way for him to make money from his DJ-ing instead and together they spend some time putting together a business plan.

In the next scenes, Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) sits down and listens to Daisy and Ryan’s suggestion of a mobile pub with a DJ that punters can hire and set up in their own gardens.

And when Ryan returns home full of plans and ideas, Alya is left wondering if Daisy is after her boyfriend.

Corrie fans will see Daisy and Ryan get together again to plan their promo party in Victoria Garden for Simon’s 18th birthday.

And as they’re setting up, they spot Alya, Ryan calls her over and Daisy takes the opportunity to invite her to the event.

She also suggests she heads into town and visit a boutique her friend owns so she can find a dress for the occasion.

But when Alya arrives later that evening, she is left feeling set-up as Daisy is wearing the exact same dress as the one she was told to buy.

Ryan brushes the issue off as a coincidence, determined to focus on delivering a great DJ set.

And when he returns home, he is buzzing after the success of the party, singing Daisy’s praises to a downbeat Alya.

After listening to Ryan speak about how wonderful Daisy has been to him for a while longer, Alya snaps and suggests Daisy fancies him.

But her point backfires as Ryan leaps to his new friend’s defence, insisting Alya is just jealous.

The next day, Ryan explains how Daisy has sorted him out with a DJ gig in Salford that evening and with Ryan out of Weatherfield, Alya takes the opportunity to confront Daisy.

Ever the manipulator, Daisy tells Ryan about the confrontation and he apologises for Alya overstepping the mark.

He then receives a text to tell him the gig is cancelled, but luckily, Daisy is on hand to be there to console him.

Coronation Street viewers will see Daisy usher Ryan into the back room of the Rovers Return and plies him with cocktails.

When Alya calls into the pub looking for Ryan, Daisy winds her up and says nothing about Ryan’s whereabouts and she eventually leaves.

When Daisy heads back into the back room, she will place her hand on Ryan’s leg, asking a very drunk Ryan whether he could prefer the naggy girlfriend cocktail or night of wild passion with Daisy cocktail.

Could viewers see Daisy lie and tell everyone she and Ryan slept together and she’s now pregnant?

It comes after fans took to Reddit to discuss Ryan and Alya’s relationship.

The post title said: “For those who have watched this week’s episodes already- what was that talk between David and Ryan in the garden? Is Ryan getting cold feet about Alya?”

“I took it to be that Ryan wants to propose but David’s comments made him think twice,” someone replied.

Another commented: “I thought it was as a parallel to Daisy’s obvious flirting and getting Ryan to think the grass is greener.”

“I think it is fundamentally a story about Alya working hard and Ryan being unable to start working and having time on his hands. At the same time they are trying to put aside money to buy somewhere. Daisy will try and swoop in,” a fan surmised.

Coronation Street is available to watch on the ITV Hub now.
