PAUL POGBA will reportedly hand in a transfer request to Manchester United to let him join Real Madrid in a huge £120million transfer.

Spanish newspaper Marca claims Zinedine Zidane hopes to bring his compatriot to the Bernabeu by including Gareth Bale in a deal.

Los Blancos are unable to afford Pogba's asking price after a summer splurge on Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic, and Ferland Mendy.

However, the Galacticos are ready to keep pushing United into a deal for their club-record signing by offering Bale to help lower the fee.

The Welshman has been told he has no future in the Spanish capital, but the winger is adamant he will stay and fight for his place in the team.

Pogba's super agent, Mino Raiola, has twice traveled to Manchester to reveal the Frenchman's desire to join the Spanish giants.

And the report claims the World Cup winner will hand in a transfer request to force through a move when he begins pre-season training next Friday.

Executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward has already informed both Pogba and Raiola that he intends to block any bid to force a move.

Yet the 26-year-old has already told all his United team-mates he wants to go, and hopes Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be the one to end the deadlock.

United’s first pre-season match is against Perth Glory in Australia on July 13 and Pogba wants the issue sorted before then.
