KATE Middleton and Meghan Markle are constantly compared to each other over everything from their fashion sense to the way they behave while on royal duties.

But there's one area where the Duchess of Cambridge definitely trumps the Duchess of Sussex: her height. Here's what we know.

How tall is Meghan Markle compared to Kate Middleton?

Meghan Markle, 37, is 5ft 6in tall, which was revealed on one of her old CVs from her acting days.

This means she's a little bit taller than the average British woman, who is around 5ft 4in.

Kate Middleton, also 37, is 5ft 9in tall, making her three inches taller than Meghan and five inches taller than the average British woman.

How tall are the other members of the Royal Family?

The Queen is infamously small, and is thought to be around 5ft 1in.

Prince Phillip towers over his wife of more than seventy years at 6ft tall.

Prince Charles is reportedly 5ft 10in, while Camilla is thought to be 5ft 8in.

Prince Harry is around 6ft 1in, just a little shorter than his brother Prince William who stands at 6ft 3in.

Are Meghan and Kate friends?

There have been constant rumours of a falling out between Meghan and Kate since the ex Suits actress married into the Royal Family.

Rift rumours started when Harry and Meg left their home within the Kensington Palace estate where they were living in close proximity to Kate and Wills before they gave birth to baby Archie.

But the two brothers reportedly fell out after Prince William's concerns over Meghan reportedly "went down quite badly" his brother.

Speaking to Fox News, royal author Katie Nicholl said: "William was concerned about how quickly the relationship had moved and wanted to make sure that Harry was making the right decision."

Last November, The Sun exclusively revealed that Meghan Markle "left Kate Middleton in tears" over her strict demands for Princess Charlotte's bridesmaid dress.

Meanwhile, one of Prince Harry's former friends Lizzie Cundy claimed earlier this year that Meghan Markle has pushed Prince Harry's friends outsince their move to Frogmore Cottage.

And in June it was confirmed that Kate and William and Meg and Harry had split from their joint charity.
