CONOR McGREGOR marked '420 day' by sharing a series of swiftly-deleted photos of himself smoking.

The Notorious was marking Thursday's date when written in the American fashion of putting the month before the day.

The 34-year-old puffed out a plume of smoke in each photo. He captioned it: "It’s 420 smoke the back box off it."

The swiftly-deleted post left many fans worried that it's the latest indication the former two-weight world champion is not serious about making a return to the octagon.

One person suggested: "This dude never gonna fight again huh?"

While another added: "You look about 55 mate…get off the booze for a week or 2. Give your body a break."

Similarly, someone else commented: "Please Mac, don't smoke or drink, remember who you are, the world needs enlightened and responsible people, world that is degenerating every day."

However, McGregor's longtime training partner and pal Dillon Danis delighted in seeing it.

He replied: "Puff puff pass haha."

Although he has been booked to fight Michael Chandler in his long-awaited comeback bout for some months now, an exact fight date has yet to be confirmed by UFC brass.

The Dubliner has shared similar photos of himself lighting up in the past too.

He's also boasted about owning 'the best hemp farm in the USA' where his Tidl Sport recovery spray is produced.

In 2021 he claimed: "The strain is indica dominant. A lovely strain!

"It comes from my hemp farm in Eugene, Oregon. Where my @tidlsport is produced.

"We've been testing some different strains out. This one is indica dominant, but we've a lot of quality produce in the works for our fans.
