CONOR MCGREGOR has seemingly poured cold water on a lightweight showdown with Charles Oliveira.

Submission specialist turned slick striker Oliveira called for a battle of former 155lb champions moments after he choked Justin Gaethje out cold at UFC 274.

But McGregor seemingly has reservations about cutting weight packing on several pounds of muscle over the last ten months.

He tweeted: "I’m not sure I wish to cut the weight. I am really enjoying being built like a refrigerator.

"I feel I want to fight at this size just to watch it back lol."

Weight cut issues aside, McGregor admits he'd love to share the octagon with Oliveira – who has won his last 11 in a row.

He said: "I’d have a nice knock off this guy, no doubt about it.
