Long was born in the Brooklyn section of New York City to Talita and Doughtry Long. Her parents divorced when she was two years old and Long moved with her mother to Iowa before her mom settled in Los Angeles a few years later.
In high school Long studied ballet, tap, jazz, gymnastics, guitar, and acting. Long’s first TV gig was on Disney Channel’s The B.R.A.T. Patrol in 1986. She then landed a role as Kathryn “Kat” Speakes on the soap opera Guiding Light and played that part from 1991 to 1994. Long went on to play Beulah “Lisa” Wilkes on the popular sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Her other TV credits include The Cleveland Show, Real Husbands of Hollywood, and Empire to name a few.

Udoka was born in Portland, Oregon, to Vitalis Udoka and Agnes Udoka. His father is from the state of Akwa Ibom in Nigeria. Both of his parents are now deceased. His dad died in 2006 followed by his mother in 2011.
After playing basketball in high school, Udoka played his colligate ball at Utah State University Eastern and the University of San Francisco before transferring to Portland State University. He went undrafted by the professional NBA teams but was selected by the Charleston Lowgators in the G League and eventually called up to play for the Los Angeles Lakers in 2004.
He then played abroad for a brief time before returning to the NBA and playing for his hometown Portland Trail Blazers. He also had stints with the New York Knicks, the San Antonio Spurs, and the Sacramento Kings. Udoka began his coaching career under the Spurs’ Gregg Popovich in 2012. He was an assistant coach as well for the Philadelphia 76ers and the Brooklyn Nets. In 2020, Udoka was hired as the Celtics’ head coach.

“I’m not that movie-star mom who’s got a private chef, a nanny, and a driver,” she told the publication. “My life is getting up and doing a bunch of things and then trying to get my s*** together after everybody is taken care of.”
