I caught him watching adult content a few times when he lived at home.

My husband and I weren’t that worried – we thought it was probably just teenage curiosity.

But his last girlfriend told us she was worried when she saw his internet history – he was spending at least five hours a day on the sites.

When my partner and I, who are 55, tried to discuss it with him, he got really defensive and aggressive.

Unsurprisingly, his partner didn’t stick around long.

Now his new girlfriend – a really sweet girl – has come to us with the same issue.

What’s even more worrying is that he has a baby on the way.

It has to stop, but how?

DEIDRE SAYS: You can’t change his behaviour – only he can do that – but you can encourage him to find help.

Sex & Porn Addiction Help (sexaddictionhelp.co.uk) has information about sex addiction and self-help.

I’m also sending you my support pack on Internet Pornography – it may give your son the push he needs.
