‘And by my fifties, after having my girls, I was just so focused on them I barely thought about myself.

‘But once Misha started influencing I decided to put myself out there and start taking some risks.

‘What I really love is focusing on health, self-improvement and intimacy.

‘I want to empower and inspire middle-aged women by talking about subjects they would never normally dream of discussing.’

Speaking of her new career, Misha said: ‘All of my childhood, I looked in the mirror and could only see what people were criticising. ‘I felt unhappy and under-confident. I want to empower and inspire middle-aged women by talking about subjects they would never normally dream of discussing’

Kasha can be seen posing in a whole host of brightly coloured outfits on her ‘NiftyAfterFifty’ Instagram page.

Although she admits to having some Botox, she said the key to her youthful looks is a balanced and healthy attitude towards life.

However, despite amassing an impressive 17,400 followers on Instagram and just under 20,000 YouTube subscribers, she admits she has encountered a small handful of trolls.

‘Of course, I’m not everyone’s cup of tea – I’m Marmite!’ she said.

‘I occasionally get comments that say “You shouldn’t be wearing those clothes when you’re 30 let alone when you’re in your 50s”.’

‘But I feel so much more confident than I did in my 20s.

‘And besides when I get those negative comments, I have a whole team of fans who come to my defence.

‘Now, there is no stopping me – I am genuinely doing it for the girls.’

And though the three look very similar, Kasha says they don’t get mistaken for sister: ‘I don’t think we look like sisters. I’m their mother first and foremost.

‘My daughters are my best friends and their best friends are my best friends too.

‘I’ve always been the crazy mother that everyone could come to and everyone could talk about.

‘I truly believe mixing with young people helps to keep me young at heart!’

The savvy businesswoman credits her boost in confidence with beauty pageants which she begun to enter in her early fifties alongside Misha.

She said: ‘I did the worst thing that any woman can apparently ever do: I entered a beauty pageant.

‘But I don’t worry what people think it made me feel fantastic.

‘Previously, I would never have dreamed of wearing a two-piece bikini. But now I pose in them on my Instagram page to show women that ageing is a natural process and we should be proud of our imperfections.’
