Legendary Beatles drummer Ringo Starr has announced a brand-new EP titled Change The World.
The 4-track record comes on the heels of the EP Zoom In, released in March, and will feature a host of “frequent and new collaborators, creating songs that span the spectrum of pop, country, reggae and rock and roll,” according to a recent press release issued by the drummer.
Recorded at the 81-year-old’s very own home studio, the lead single of the new EP, “Let’s Change the World” was written by Toto members Joseph Williams and Steve Lukather, both of whom also played on the track.
“What a blessing it’s been during this year to have a studio here at home and be able to collaborate with so many great musicians, some I’ve worked with before and some new friends,” Starr shared.
The new EP is scheduled for release on September 24 and is available for pre-order now.
