Nicki Minaj is officially a mother, which yay! People Magazine confirmed that Nicki welcomed a beautiful bundle of joy with her husband, Kenneth Petty, on September 30. At the time, there was no word on if Nicki had a boy or a girl—until now. Yesterday, Nicki took to Instagram to subtly reveal the sex of her baby while sharing congratulatory notes and gifts that she received from Beyoncé, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, Winnie Harlow, and a bunch of her other celebrity friends.
“Thank you to Queen B, Kim & Ye, Riccardo Tisci, Winnie, Karol & everyone who sent well wishes during this time,” Nicki captioned the post. “It meant the world to me. I am so grateful & in love with my son. Madly in love. My favorite liddo boy in the whole wide world. 🎁🎈”
Beyoncé kept it real simple with her note, and wrote, “Onika, Welcome to motherhood. God bless you and your family. B.”
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West sent a “Congrats! We love you!” along with balloons, while model Winnie Harlow wrote, “Baby Barb on Board! Congratulations sis, so happy for the healthy delivery of your first bundle of joy! Sending you blessings and prayers on this new journey.”
Nicki announced her pregnancy and subsequently shut down the internet back in July with a stunning maternity shoot that featured her in some seriously bedazzled bikinis and sky high heels. She thanked her fans for their love and support, and wrote: “Love. Marriage. Baby carriage. Overflowing with excitement & gratitude. Thank you all for the well wishes. 💛”
