More than two decades after the film’s release, Practical Magic remains a favorite among fans — and the A-list cast.

“I love that movie,” Nicole Kidman said. “I showed that movie to my kids. It’s a little above their [level of understanding]… But we’re really good sisters.”

Meanwhile, Sandra Bullock recalled a favorite scene in the film. “We were talking about when we shot [Practical Magic] together and we asked her to get the tequila, she came back with her own tequila but we drank it anyway. We were a little drunk.”

Click through to see what the star-studded cast is up to now.

Sandra Bullock

By the time Sandra Bullock starred as Sally Owens in Practical Magic, she already had both Speed movies and Hope Floats under her belt. But it’s safe to say the best was yet to come.

After bonding with Nicole Kidman as sister witches, Bullock went on to star in Miss Congeniality two years later, immediately making her a superstar. Successful turns in both comedies and drama followed until she finally won her well deserved Oscar for The Blind Side in 2009.

Though Bullock has slowed down since adopting her adorable little ones Louis and Laila, she’s still a box office draw with recent hits like Ocean’s 8 and Bird Box.

Nicole Kidman

Like Bullock, Kidman was already an established name before playing Gillian Owens in Practical Magic, but her star only grew from there. Easily one of Hollywood’s most successful and sought after actresses, Kidman has been nominated for multiple Oscars and won for The Hours back in 2002 — just four years after trying her hand at black magic next to Bullock.

Now, Kidman continues to star in critically acclaimed movies and made a splash in the TV world with her award-winning performance in Big Little Lies. Next up, she’ll star alongside Hugh Grant in another HBO series, The Undoing, and team up with the likes of Meryl Streep and Kerry Washington for Netflix’s adaptation of the Broadway musical The Prom.

Stockard Channing

Who can forget the legendary Stockard Channing as Aunt Frances? As one half of the sister duo that trained our movie heroines, Channing perfectly fit the mold for the role.

And the actress, who already had movies like First Wives Club and Six Degrees of Separation (not to mention Grease!) to her name, still enjoys success in both movies and TV. She’s had a memorable turn as the president’s wife in The West Wing and recently had a recurring role in The Good Wife.

Dianne Wiest

Channing’s other half onscreen was the equally legendary Dianne Wiest, who was already known for a string of hits dating back to the early ’80s.

And she’s still going. The actress starred with Clint Eastwood in The Mule and has had several successful stints on TV, including CBS’ Life in Pieces.

Aidan Quinn

The man with one green eye and one blue that answered Bullock’s call finally provided a happy ending for our favorite cursed witch. And the actor who played him has continued to find success.

Quinn continued his streak of playing officers of the law in the TV shows Third Watch, Prime Suspect, and, most recently, in CBS’s Elementary.

Evan Rachel Wood

A then-11-year-old Wood played Sandra Bullock’s daughter, who looked and acted a whole lot like Kidman’s Aunt Gillian. Wood is the first generation of Owens women who gets to practice magic freely and grow up knowing she can fall in love without consequences.

Wood went on to grow up in the spotlight and find success in both movies and TV, including her recent award-winning turn in HBO’s Westworld. She welcomed a son with ex Jamie Bell in 2013.

Camilla Belle

A tiny Camilla Belle played the younger version of Sandra Bullock’s Sally, and had the honor of casting the spell that one day brought her true love into her life.

Belle became an It Girl in the mid-2000s before starring in a string of independent movies.

Alexandra Artrip

Practical Magic was one of just three credits for Atrip, who played Sally’s younger daughter Antonia in the film. Atrip — who now goes by Lexi — stepped away from Hollywood, and most recently worked as a sales rep at a Birmingham, Alabama-based paper company.

Goran Visnjic

As Jimmy Angelov, his character was from “somewhere near Transylvania,” but in real life, Visnjic is Croatian — and you’ve definitely seen his other work, from ER to The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo to Madonna’s “The Power of Good-Bye” video. Visnjic has stayed busy on TV, recently appearing on This Is UsDollface and The Boys.

Mark Feuerstein

Feuerstein won hearts as Sally’s adorable, ill-fated husband Michael. He continued to be adorable in films like What Women Want and In Her Shoes, and starred for seven years on TV series Royal Pains. He most recently starred in Netflix’s lauded reboot of The Baby-Sitters Club.

Margo Martindale

Martindale shined — and brought comic relief — as one of the Owens sisters’ few allies in town.

She’s thrived both on film and TV since, and has racked up three Emmy Awards (for her roles on Justified and The Americans) and three additional nominations.

Martindale also went on to costar alongside both Bullock and Kidman again: with Bullock in 28 Days, and with Kidman in The Hours and The Human Stain

Chloe Webb

Arguably best known for playing Nancy Spungen in 1986’s Sid and Nancy, Webb was Carla, the quirky (and maybe slightly witchy herself) employee at Sally’s botanical shop. Webb went on to do a string of TV guest spots before landing the role of Monica Gallagher on Showtime’s hit series Shameless.
