Hollyoaks actor Malique Thompson-Dwyer has officially announced the arrival of his second child, in a heartwarming Instagram post.

The 24 year old actor, who portrays Prince McQueen in the Channel 4 soap, shared the news on Friday alongside two adorable images of the little one and announced the newborn's sweet name.

“22-09-22 Milan Thompson-Dwyer was born," Malique wrote alongside a red heart emoji.

The soap star, who is also a doting dad to a five-year-old daughter named Alexis, shared the news that his mystery girlfriend was expecting another addition to the family back in August, and on 23 September announced that their baby daughter had arrived safely.

Richard Blackwood added: "Congratulations my brother she's beautiful," while Chris Charles said: "Congratulations to you both my brother," with several emojis.

After announcing his second daughter's birth on Instagram, Malique took to his Stories to share a clip of baby Milan as they sat in the hospital and gushed over her, branding her "gorgeous".

The actor could be seen cradling his partner's blossoming bump in the photo, which was shared on 1 August.

The dad-of-two followed up this post with a snap of himself, and shared his excitement about becoming a dad for the second time.

"Can't believe my second daughter will be born in 2 weeks that's mad. 24 with 2 kids yano think it's time to wrap it up," he joked. "ahahaha all jokes aside man can not wait to be a dad again truly blessed."
