Chloe Sims, Sam and Billie Faiers and Mark Wright led the congratulatory well-wishes to Georgia Kousoulou and Tommy Mallet as they welcomed their first child.

TOWIE star Georgia, 29, announced the happy news of her son's birth on Instagram on Friday afternoon, revealing that she and Tommy have named their baby boy, Brody Fordham.

The delightful announcement had the blonde's nearest and dearest rushing to leave comments under her picture holding her newborn son.

"I honestly can't even tell you how much this picture makes my heart burst. My besties. Brody your so loved my angel.. can't wait for cuddles. I love you all so much," Amber Dowding wrote under the snap.

Chloe Meadows added: "Oh my god, congratulations guys!! How amazing."

Others stars were also quick to leave their well-wishes, with mum-of-two Samantha Faiers commenting: "Aww, huge congratulations. Such a beautiful photo."

Former X Factor star Jake Quickenden "welcomed" the new parents to their "crazy ride" while former Blue singer Antony Costa "sent his love".

Others left short yet sweet messages, including host Denise Van Outen, Celebs Go Dating's Nadia Essex, Geordie Shore's Holly Hagan and Love Island's Jessica Hayes.

Natalya Wright, sister of TOWIE favourites Mark and Jessica Wright, added: "Congratulations" alongside a series of blue and white heart emojis.

In her baby announcement snap, in which Tommy wore surgical scrubs, Georgia wrote: "Introducing you. Brody Fordham, 05.05.21 weighing 8lb 9. We are so in love." Her caption also included numerous heart emojis.

The tot was delivered via a planned Caesarean after Georgia discovered he was in the breech position.

A source close to Georgia and Tommy exclusively revealed to OK! online: "Little Brody is perfect and everyone is so excited to meet him."

The star recently revealed the change to her birth plan on Instagram, telling fans: "So baby is coming earlier than we thought because I'm having a C-Section. Baby is breech.

"But because of that, I have not stopped. I know everyone keeps saying you need to rest, but he's coming quicker than we thought so I've had to get organised."

Breech babies are generally feet rather than head down making it very difficult to have a vaginal birth.

Georgia and Tommy are long-serving cast members of the ITVBe reality show but filmed their final scenes last month to focus on being parents to their firstborn.
