LAURENT KOSCIELNY will undergo a medical at Bordeaux today ahead of a £4.6million transfer.
The wantaway Arsenal star, 33, has been trying to force a move out of the Emirates ever since refusing to fly out for their pre-season tour of the US.
Last month it was revealed Koscielny had agreed terms with both Bordeaux and Rennes.
But now, Arsenal have agreed to a fee of £4.6m and the Gunners' club captain will leave, pending his medical.
The Premier League giants had hoped to command a fee much closer to £10m – but ultimately their hands were tied.
Unai Emery had forced Koscielny to train with the kids – even after the first-team returned from America – as punishment for his tour snub.
Koscielny has one year left on his £100,000-a-week contract and had initially hoped for an extension.
TIER WE GO
But Arsenal were only willing to keep him on the books for another year – even then, it would have been based purely on appearances.
The Gunners also on the brink of offloading Carl Jenkinson with Nottingham Forest interested in the £5m-rated defender.
Forest are reportedly mulling over a loan deal, but Arsenal will hope to secure a permanent move for the long-serving right-back.
They hope to be able to raise enough funds in the final days of the transfer window in order to launch a last-gasp swoop for Kieran Tierney.
The Gunners have thus far failed in their pursuit of the Celtic left-back, with boss Neil Lennon holding out for £25m for the star.
Arsenal are also on the lookout for a central defender, with £27m new-boy William Saliba spending the season on loan at old club St Etienne.
Meanwhile, Raul Sanllehi is hoping to mastermind a near-£30m move away for error-prone Shkodran Mustafi.
