Amy Schumer and her husband Chris Fischer are officially parents! The two welcomed their first child together last night. They announced the birth on Instagram.
“10:55 pm last night. Our royal baby was born,” Amy wrote in her post with a picture of her, Chris, and the baby.
The entire time she’s been pregnant, she’s been joking about sharing a due date with the Duchess of Sussex. “I’ll tell you who it’s not fun to be pregnant at the exact same time as… Meghan Markle,” Amy said during her Netflix standup special. “I think we’re, like, to the day the same amount pregnant.”
Like, literally, Amy’s baby almost shared a birthday with Baby Sussex. The two of them were probably in labor at the same time.
“She’s out there in six-inch heels, adorable outfits, and there’s been no bump,” she joked. “She, like, cups where the bump will be . . . People see me, they’re like, ‘Oh, the last couple of weeks are the hardest, right? Are you crowning? I think I can see an ear.'”
LOL, at least she could have a sense of humor about things?? Amy’s pregnancy actually had something in common with Kate Middleton’s too. The two of them both suffered from hyperemesis gravidarum, which is basically like an extreme form of morning sickness…but it lasts, like, the entire time you’re pregnant.
Amy had to cancel the last part of her tour because of it.
