LESLEY SHARP is back on the small screen as the Manchester actress features in Channel 4's police drama Before We Die.
She has become a regular on primetime TV with one of the Northern star's first appearances coming on Prime Suspect.

Actress Lesley, 61, was born in Manchester and will be a familiar face to fans of both stage and screen.
She honed her talent at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and has previously admitted she turned to the career because she felt "invisible" and "didn't quite fit in" as a child.
Lesley has also revealed her main inspiration came from watching comedian Dick Emery on TV.

The bubbly blonde is well known to viewers for her five-year stint as Janet Scott in ITV drama Scott and Bailey.

Success on the big screen came in the form of a BAFTA nomination for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for the cheeky 1997 flick, The Full Monty before winning Best Female Actor at the Royal Television Society awards for featuring in Afterlife.

Lesley's other half is also familiar with the dramatics, with Nicholas Gleaves appearing alongside his wife in Scott & Bailey.
He has also starred in a number of other hit TV shows including Foyle's War, Waterloo Road and Coronation Street.
The pair got married in February 1994 and share two sons, Zachary and Gabriel.
