NBA veteran Jalen Rose’s New York Post podcast “Jalen Rose: Renaissance Man” debuted Thursday — featuring an intimate discussion with Big Sean about their beloved hometown of Detroit.

Fresh off the release of the rapper’s fifth solo album “Detroit II,” the pair talked about Big Sean’s upbringing in Motor City, where Rose was also born and raised.

“It made me who I am. It was beautiful. I see the beauty in it,” Big Sean, 32, told the hoops great. “We always found a way to survive — that’s just I feel like the mentality of the city.”

“Detroit II” is Big Sean’s third No. 1 album after debuting on top of the Billboard 200 chart last month.

Rose, who spent 13 years in the NBA including with the Knicks, is the co-founder of the Jalen Rose Leadership Academy public charter school in Detroit.

Rose partnered with The Post to launch his new lifestyle and culture podcast, covering everything from fashion to technology — with famous faces sprinkled in for no-holds-barred conversations.
