Hundreds of people showed up to the unlicensed event on Winstanley Estate – one of several across the capital in past weeks.
Tightly packed crowds were pictured disregarding the ‘one-metre rule’ as police lined up to break up the party.
Officers issued a dispersal order and most people in attendance were gone by 8.30pm.
A Met Police spokesperson said: “Police attended the Winstanley Estate, SW11 after reports of a large number of people gathered at the location.
“Police dispersed the majority of those in attendance by approximately 20:30hrs. A smaller number remained in the area.
“There were no incidents of note.”
Wandsworth Police tweeted on Thursday: “Because of information about a planned gathering in Falcon Park SW11 today, a section 34 Anti Social Behaviour Crime and Policing Act power has been granted by Inspector Shickle from 2pm on Thursday 16th of July 2020 to 1:59pm on Saturday 18th of July 2020 covering Falcon Park.
“When in effect, a s34 authority makes it an offence under section 35 to fail to comply with a direction from PCs/PCSOs to disperse from the area, fail to surrender items likely to cause anti social behaviours when asked by PC/PCSOs, and return within a specified period after being directed to disperse from the area.”
Cops in London have been trying to keep on top of similar illegal gatherings for weeks.
Raves in Tooting and Croydon had to be shut down after hundreds of revellers showed up.
Footage posted on social media showed people blasting loud music and dancing and drinking in the streets.
Some gatherings turned violent with police being pelted with missiles in Notting Hill.
And 22 officers were injured in Brixton when thugs ran wild, smashing cars and throwing objects at cops.
Terrifying footage even showed men fighting with knives in the chaotic scenes.
Raves in Manchester and Leeds have also been broken up during lockdown.
