Ever since Kate Middleton gave birth to Prince Louis there’s been speculation and reports almost daily that she and Prince William are going to have a fourth child.

The Duchess of Cambridge previously shot down those rumors but now, with the recent birth of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s baby, many are wondering if Middleton has baby fever. Here’s why royal fans think they will definitely have a fourth baby, plus how Middleton said William would react to more kids.

How Middleton addressed the pregnancy rumors

On St. Patrick’s Day, Middleton shut down those rumors that she’s already pregnant without saying a single word.

She and William attended the annual St. Patrick’s parade honoring Irish Guards in Hounslow at the 1st Battalion Irish Guards’ base. It was there that she addressed those pregnancy rumors by sipping a Guinness beer with her husband. At the same event last year Middleton was pregnant with Louis and drank water instead of alcohol.

Her actions quieted down the pregnancy chatter, for a little while at least.

Bookies Ladbrokes reported that the odds of the royal couple having another child had been slashed. Punters have based bets at 10/1 for the duchess to have another baby this year and odds on her announcing a pregnancy this year were at 5/2.

Why fans still think they’ll have a fourth child

Royal fans still believe that William and Middleton would like to have a fourth baby just like Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip did with Prince Charles, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew, and Prince Edward.

“Prince William reportedly wants to follow Queen Elizabeth II’s footsteps by having four children,” one of William’s friends revealed.

A friend of Middleton’s agreed and told the Daily Mail that “Catherine would like another baby. She loves children and is prepared to put herself through another pregnancy even though they have been complicated by severe morning sickness in the past.”

With her other pregnancies, the Duchess of Cambridge suffered from Hyperemesis Gravidarum, which causes nausea, vomiting, and malnutrition in pregnant women. Middleton was hospitalized for dehydration when she was pregnant with Prince George.

What the couple has said about having more kids

While fans may be hopeful that there will be a fourth Cambridge baby, William might not be on board with that.

People reported that during a walkabout a few months back Middleton spoke with a well-wisher named Alan Barr who was with his 5-month-old son, James.

“He’s gorgeous. It makes me feel broody,” the duchess said when she saw the infant.

Barr recalled asking Middleton if she was ready for “baby number four.”

She then laughed and replied, “I think William would be a little worried.”

No doubt they have their hands full now with three little ones but we’ll just have to wait and see if there will be another addition to their family.
