RICKIE Haywood-Williams is no stranger to the public thanks to his popular radio shows with co-presenter Melvin Odoom and Charlie Hedges.

And now the smooth presenter is working his magic in the kitchen in the new series of Celebrity MasterChef which kicks off TONIGHT (September 2). Here's the lowdown on the handsome broadcaster.

Who is Rickie Haywood-Williams?

Rickie Haywood-Williams is a 39-year-old presenter who studied broadcast journalism at the BRIT School in Croydon.

The broadcaster has fronted successful show alongside his presenting partner Melvin Odoom including MTV News, Big Brother's Big Mouth and Sweat The Small Stuff.

He has been co-presenting The BRITs Backstage alongside Laura Whitmore and Melvin since 2015 and has also been co-presenting Bang on the Money with Melvin.

Rickie has a daughter named Lola Williams and he previously admitted that becoming a father has helped with his personal growth.

Which radio shows does he present?

Rickie presented Kiss 100's Breakfast show every weekday morning alongside Melvin and Charlie Hedges.

The Londoner first met his co-host Melvin whilst studying at the University of Bedfordshire, and they then became long-running presenters early mornings at Kiss FM.

They won Silver at the Sony Radio Awards in 2009 within the category of Breakfast Show Award.

But the trio have now moved over to BBC Radio One and are hosting the late evening show.

When does Celebrity MasterChef 2019 start?

Celebrity MasterChef officially kicks off TONIGHT (September 2) at 9pm on BBC One.

The show airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and  Fridays.

The Monday and Wednesday episodes are on for a full hour, starting at 9pm and 8pm.

Friday's 30 minute episode airs at 9pm.

Who is judging MasterChef 2019?

As usual John Torode and Gregg Wallace will be having their tastebuds tantalised by the celeb hopefuls.

The long-standing judges will be dishing up their opinions on the creations – and no doubt they'll be serving up a healthy dose of criticism.

Fan-favourites John and Gregg have been at the helm of both MasterChef and its celebrity counterpart since 2005.
