TRINNY Woodall has shown off her toned abs in a bikini in a playful video with her lookalike daughter, Lyla.

The 55-year-old star shot to fame as a fashion expert, and it appears that she doesn't even take time off when she is on holiday.

Instead, the What Not To Wear presenter enlisted the help of her 15-year-old daughter to model bikinis for Instagram, with Trinny sharing helpful tips and tricks with her followers along the way.

Starting off as the only person in shot, Trinny looks incredible in a navy two-piece and sunglasses as she poses in an archway in Portugal.

She explains: "I spent years wearing little string bikinis, but my body has slightly changed.

"The days of nothing with structure and holding in a slouchy movement are gone."

Contorting her body into different positions, Trinny goes on to add that now that she is older she needs the structured strapless top to flatter her figure, with the tassels on her bottoms flattering her thighs.

Trinny then calls lookalike Lyla, who joins her mum in shot in similar swimwear.

The teen tells the camera: "I'm wearing the teal blue bikini because it complements my tan, brown eyes and brown hair."

Throughout the video, Trinny details how your choice of swimwear can flatter frame, skin tone, and hair colour.

Trinny captioned the fun-loving post: "I spent years in string bikinis but recently realised I require more structure – my secret indulgence is ERES and I recently added to my one with three more / summer budget blown/ modelled beautifully here by the girls.

"@lylaelichaoff really suits this cobalt blue with her brown eyes, [olive] skin and brown hair."

Trinny shares Lyla with her late husband Johnny Elichaoff, who she was married to between 1999 and 2009

She has been dating businessman Charles Saatchi since his 2013 split from ex-wife Nigella Lawson.

She previously heaped praise on Saatchi for helping her raise Lyla and her step-son Zak following Elichaoff's death in 2014.
