THE Only Way Is Essex star Georgia Kousoulou was praised by fans and her celeb pals after sharing a candid photo of her post-baby body.

The new mum, 30, said she struggled accepting her body after giving birth to son Brody two months ago.

However, time has helped her realise there is no rush to return to the shape she was before pregnancy, and she is now proud of her physique.

In a candid Instagram post, she wrote: "THE REALITY ..
all I heard when I was pregnant was 'you’ll bounce back 'your young etc .. It got in my head & I prob did think I would to an extent ..

"So you can imagine the first time I looked in the mirror 8 weeks ago I’m not going to lie .. I freaked out , my body wasnt my body I was used to no more , I had big stretch marks , I am wider & obviously a c section scar , I remember just crying .."

The tears have now stopped, and Georgia isn't denying herself any tasty treats. While she admits she'd love to be a size 10 again, she said she's going to take at least a year to tone up.

She continued: "NOW 8 weeks on this is me..," she continued. "Iv done no exercise & ate what I want , when I can .. I now look at my body. & im proud , I’m proud I have grown a beautiful healthy baby, im proud I have got through the first 8 weeks..

"But of course I would love to get in my nice size 10 Zara bits but that can wait for now , im giving myself minimum a year , for now I’m focusing on me & my baby.

"So BOUNCE BACK? the only place I’m bouncing to is TO BED to sleep when I can ? let’s stop using these phrases to women!! yes you will come out of hospital with a bump still- it’s taken us 9 months to grow a baby, why are we expecting our bumps to go straight away?"

She signed off by encouraging her followers to not pressure on new mums, and for those in a similar position to her to not be hard on themselves.

Mum-of-five Katie Price was full of praise for the reality star.

She commented: "you look amazing honestly and happy ❤️I hate it I get judged and I’ve had 5 babies and most people who judge haven’t had a baby when reality is of course our body changes but worth it ❤️❤️."

Her former Towie co-star Lydia Bright posted: "What a beautiful post."

While Vicky Pattison shared: "You are a beautiful woman and this a brave and incredible post! You will help so many new mothers!!! Sending you loads of love ❤️."
