This Morning fans were given an eyeful after eagle-eyed viewers spotted an awkward malfunction from Dermot O'Leary.

Dermot, 50, hosted the ITV morning show together with Alison Hammond on Friday (December 1). As the pair took on hosting duties, the set was dressed to the nines as the show celebrated the approaching Christmas.

Alison and Dermot welcomed viewers, as they were reunited after days apart from presenting. Clearly happy to see each other, the pair burst through the door as they officially kicked off Christmas celebrations on the first day of Advent.

"Hello everyone and welcome to your very festive Friday This Morning," Alison beamed as they punched their way through a paper Advent calendar door. Remarking on the studio, Dermot said he was "blown away" at the numerous Christmas trees that filled the room.

He continued: "Let me tell you a secret, I was on Good Morning Britain earlier this week and there was no one here and I came in and I had a little look. It was like Christmas morning, it was so beautiful."

The pair were then joined by a less enthusiastic guest, as The Grinch made an appearance on the show, making off with one the many trees that lined the studio. Bewildered at his surprise entrance, Alison asked: "What on earth? Hang on a minute, if my eyes didn't deceive me, that was the Grinch, right?!"

But as Dermot and Alison continued to present the show, many viewers were left thinking the same thing. Many viewers had pointed out that Dermot had been wearing a tight pair of trousers that had left nothing to the imagination.

Some fans watching the show at home took to social media to remark his manhood was coming through his trousers. One fan watching the show quipped: "Dermot's bursting through – bulge first!"

A second viewer took advantage of the seasonal attire from the show's set, joking: "Dermot's bauble are hanging nice on the tree!" Whilst a third user pleaded with bosses to get O'Leary to change his outfit: "Someone please get Dermot some different trousers."

This Morning airs every weekday at 10am on ITV1 and ITVX.
