The Walking Dead is making its way through its 10th season but it’s bittersweet for fans of the show because it will be Michonne’s (played by Danai Gurira) last outing. However, the way she will actually exit is a current mystery, Siddiq star, Avi Nash, has given some crucial teases about the exit.
Express.co.uk recently caught up with Avi who spilled on the fan-favourite’s departure.
The actor explained: “I think her exit is fitting of the legacy that Danai and Michonne have created on the show and the work she’s done.
“For Siddiq and Michonne, once Rick died, they’re both very close and I think her exit very much pays homage to the fact they’re both bound together by the love they had for that man.
“She took him in to her home very much in the same way as Rick did – he lost his parents, Rick lost his son and they’ve continued their bond forward.”

Avi continued: “I can at least tease that Michonne sees a fitting exit and Siddiq is there.
“I think the writers have done a really lovely job and they’ve not cheated the viewers of anything they deserve.
“I think they’ve done a really good job while still respecting how much you guys love these characters.”
Danai announced her upcoming exit earlier in the year while speaking at San Diego Comic Con.
She revealed to thousands of fans: “I can confirm that this is the last season I will be on this amazing TV show as Michonne.
“I would just like to say that this has been one of the purest joys of my life to play this role and to be amongst these people and those who are not here right now and amongst all of you.
“I’m very thankful for the experience I’ve had in ways I can’t state right now.
“My heart does not leave in any way, shape or form. The TWD family is forever. The connection between us never ends.”
Meanwhile for Avi’s Siddiq, it seems there will be some drama in the coming weeks considering his PTSD condition.
Speaking about his character, Avi revealed: “He’s not having a great time.
“He watched 10 of his friends get beheaded and because of that he’s dealing with survivor’s guilt and PTSD and he’s also a new father.
“All those things combined have him question what kind of man is he.

“He’s really fighting to maintain and hold on to the moral compass that he has hidden in the light of terror, like Alpha.
“It’s not like one of the villains in the past and they’re sort of a moral equality there, Alpha says this is how I choose to live and you’re wrong.
“I think Siddiq is really struggling with all of that.”
