The View's Abby Huntsman claimed the show was 'toxic' and staff 'rewarded people for bad behavior.'

Her scathing revelation came after her former co-host and friend, Meghan McCain, said she was 'bullied' out of a job.

Abby said on a new episode of her podcast I Wish Somebody Told Me: “I’m never going to write a tell-all book.

She said “executives in charge” cared most about “was all about money and the tabloids…

"You would see people act in ways that were not okay, that was very much part of the toxic environment of The View, and here we were going on the air criticizing others for toxic culture.”

Abby added of the relief after her last taping following her quitting the show: “When I was walking out of the building that day, I was living again.

“I could breathe and feel myself breathing. I was present and I hadn’t been present for the almost two years I was there.”

Last year, it was reported, Abby was "thrown under the bus" by The View bigwigs, after suddenly quitting the show.

The 33-year-old reportedly refused a request from the ABC show's bosses, to issue a statement denying that there's a 'toxic culture' on the panel show, reports The Daily Beast.

The behind-the-scenes drama amped up, after Abby's shock on-air announcement 24 hours earlier, and multiple news outlets described the show's atmosphere as "toxic".

'TOXIC WORKPLACE'

Before the live show, according to the Daily Beast's sources, Senior Executive Producer Hilary Estey McLoughlin and Barbara Fedida, ABC News’ senior vice president for talent, editorial strategy and business affairs, asked Huntsman to go on-camera and counter reports of internal strife by putting a positive spin on The View as a workplace, says the website.

“They threw Abby under the bus,” a View insider told The Daily Beast.

However, the website says that Huntsman, who is in her second year on The View, instead took the advice of the talk show’s moderator Whoopi Goldberg.

Abby quit, eight months short of the end of her contract, and decamped to Utah to help run the 2020 gubernatorial campaign of her father, former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman Jr.

FRACTURED FRIENDSHIP

Another insider said Abby was actually leaving because of her recently fractured friendship with Meghan McCain.

At the time Meghan responded to the surprise news saying on the show: "You've been a friend forever and I'm heartbroken that you're leaving.

"But I can understand better than anybody how important it is to go support your dad. The best moments of my life were with my dad, doing the same thing."

Recently, the two women have been at odds, according to Page Six, and were no longer on speaking terms.

"They aren't speaking to each other. It's been about a month," the source said.

"None of the ladies talk to Meghan now. Abby was the last woman standing. It's bad. Meghan's so rude."

Another source told the outlet: "Abby tolerates Meghan, but she doesn't genuinely like her. Their friendship has soured."

'BULLIED'

Meanwhile, Meghan recently claimed she was "BULLIED" out of her job on The View during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live.

In another recent interview, she said her cohost, Joy Behar, "made her so upset she vomited" at the show.

On WWHL, host Andy Cohen asked Meghan if she "takes any responsibility for the toxicity on The View?"

Meghan replied: "Only one person was bullied out of their job and doesn't work there anymore, and I think that really says it all."

She also relayed she's still in touch with people who work at The View, including part of her hair and makeup team, her stylist and some of the hosts including Sunny Hostin.

Meghan went on: "I adore Whoopi, and I love her… She's an American icon. I have more love for her than anything else."

She added despite calling The View a toxic workplace, she feels "it's a great platform…"
