While this generation of kids might not understand what it means to stand outside someone’s bedroom window playing a romantic song from a boombox hoisted over your head, and in fact might not even know what a boombox is, anyone over the age of 30 gets it.

Say Anything is a 1989 romantic teen romantic comedy-drama that is a must-see for anyone who loves the genre. It stars John Cusack as an average young man named Lloyd Dobler who finds himself hopelessly in love with the class valedictorian Diane Court (Ione Skye) who seems totally out of his league.
