    The Chase fans were left in hysterics after Shaun Wallace showed off his hidden talent during a tense head-to-head round.

    During Monday’s visit (November 27) visit to the ITV studios, Bradley Walsh welcomed four new players onto the show. As viewers tuned in to the primetime show, the TV hose welcomed Frank, Felicity, Sarah and Ryan as they put their general knowledge to the test.

    This week the quartet took on Shaun ‘The Dark Destroyer’ Wallace as they battled it out to take home the enviable cash prize. But fans struggled to concentrate during the afternoon quiz show after the 63-year-old revealed his hidden talent.

    First up to the podium was Frank, who managed to add am impressive £6,000 to the jackpot after an impressive cash builder round. And despite a nail-biting head-to-head, the Solihull managed to claw back his winnings and made it through to the final round.

    However, the same could be said for some of his teammates. After failing to boot one player from the team, Shaun brought his A-game and even attempted to distract the contestants with his questionable singing voice.

    Next up to the stand was Felicity, who confessed that she hoped to challenge Shaun from the very beginning. As the pro quizzer settled into his seat after her incredible cash builder, he decided to serenade her with a song.

    Unfortunately, his musical talents weren’t appreciated by viewers at home. After watching the terrible rendition of a classic nursery rhyme. Taking to the social media platform X – formerly known as Twitter – fans shared their thoughts online.

    One user penned: “Wow, great singing, Shaun. Let me just clean my ears for a sec #TheChase.” Another agreed: “Shaun stop singing [crying emoji] #TheChase.”

    After booting Felicity in a tense one-question shoot-out, he made sure to bring the same energy to the next round with Sarah. By means of greeting the next player, Shaun sang the first few lines of the hit single I Did It My Way by Frank Sinatra.

    And his impressive skills proved their weight in gold with the next quizzer booted from the show. When Ryan stepped up to the podium as the final contestant, Shaun decided to switch things up a bit by writing the Manchester-native a poem during his cash-builder round.

    After delivering his cheeky limerick, doting dad Ryan praised him for his efforts and joked that he could have a "new career" in his future. Viewers were divided over his efforts as they took to social media to share their thoughts online.

    One user posted: "Shaun's poems are brill tbf [two cry-laughing emojis] #TheChase." Whereas another argued: "What's this weird poem that Shaun's doing? #thechase."

    Luckily Ryan managed to make it through to the final round with the pair sharing a grand total of £12,000. But with half the team gone, the pair only answered 17 questions correctly within two minutes.

    In the final round, Shaun easily beat the pair in less than a minute and a half, stealing their winnings with a final verse of the Frank Sinatra hit.
