ABBA’s Bjorn Ulvaeus and Strictly Come Dancing star Anneka Rice step back in time in clothes from their heyday.

Bjorn, 74, wore one of the pop supergroup’s costumes from the 70s, complete with flares and platform shoes.

Anneka, 60, wore the sort of jumpsuit she became famous for on popular 1980s TV show Treasure Hunt.

Bjorn appeared at the launch of Mamma Mia! The Party celebration night at London’s 02 Arena on Thursday. He said: “It wasn’t even tight. It fits like a glove. My chest hair is the same too. But I will never wear it again. Just the once.”

Anneka is set to jump from a helicopter in homage to her “action girl” TV past when she dances with pro partner Kevin Clifton, 36, on Strictly tonight.

She said: “We’ve thrown the kitchen sink at it; the jumpsuit, the helicopter, everything.

“I was pretty nervous about the dancing so to take Kevin on a helicopter, which made him nervous, was quite funny. I wanted him to know what nerves feel like and now he does.

“He was scared at first – he was clinging onto me – although he loved it at the end.

“I found an original jumpsuit too which was quite good, and I still fit in.”
