STRICTLY bosses have confirmed that Oti Mabuse WON'T be treated any differently – now her sister is the new dancing judge.

The pair will be working together on the BBC1 show and the fears come amid concerns Motsi Mabuse would be 'bias' towards her sibling.

New judge Motsi, 38, has vast experience of judging dancers including her younger sister, 28, while on the German set of Strictly equivalent, Let's Dance.

A BBC insider told the Mail Online: "Motsi and Oti have been in this position before as judge/pro dancer on the German version of the show for multiple series and were much loved."

Originally a dancer on the European show, she was promoted to being a judge on the fourth series, where she has remained for nine series.

It was there she judged her younger sister Oti, who was a professional dancer on Let's Dance for two series.

A source told the Sun: "The pro dancers talking among themselves, saying it’s unfair and bound to cause a host of issues.

"A lot of the cast feel like they’re fighting a losing battle already. They feel Motsi will favour her sister.

"And some worry Oti will say who she is close to on the team — and Motsi will give them preferential treatment, especially the girls."

The Sun understands that the other judges — Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood and Bruno Tonioli — were not consulted before she was announced as the new judge.

But a source said: “Bosses were delighted with Motsi in her screen test and are confident she will become a household name like her younger sister.

“She’s got all the experience from doing Let’s Dance in Germany and is great in front of the camera.”

Head judge Shirley Ballas wrote on social media: "Thrilled to welcome the fabulous Motsi Mabuse to the BBC Strictly family. What exciting news! We are going to have a ball, and you’re going to love every second."

While former judge Alesha Dixon wrote: "Amazing!!! Mabuse girls are taking over!"

Dancer Motsi commented: "I am absolutely overjoyed to be joining the Strictly judging panel.

"I have so much respect and admiration for the other three judges and hope to add my own bit of sparkle to the show. I can’t wait to get started!"

It's not the first time in the UK they have been on screen together either – Motsi currently appears with sisters Oti and Phemelo on Celebrity Gogglebox.
