The ‘House of Gucci’ director looks annoyed with his interviewer during an awkward chat as the journalist says his new movie ‘The Last Duel’ is more realistic than his previous ones.

AceShowbizRidley Scott was not impressed by the recent comments made about his movies. In an interview with a Russian journalist, the filmmaker seemed offended when the interviewer said his new movie “The Last Duel” was more realistic than his previous ones like “Kingdom of Heaven” and “Robin Hood“.

The remarks were clearly meant as an act of flattery, but it only annoyed the “Blade Runner” director because it seemed to suggest his other films were not realistic enough. “Sir, f*** you. F*** you. Thank you very much. F*** you. Go f*** yourself, sir. Go on,” he calmly dropped expletives in response to the comments.

“The Last Duel” actress Jodie Comer was with the director during the cringey chat. She awkwardly looked down in silence when the filmmaker went off on the journalist. Meanwhile, the foreign journalist tried to brush off the blunder with a laugh.

“The Last Duel” also starred Matt Damon, Adam Driver, and Ben Affleck. It didn’t really perform well on box office, and Ridley Scott blamed phone-loving millennials for it.

“I think what it boils down to – what we’ve got today (are) the audiences who were brought up on these f**king cell phones. The millennial, (who) do not ever want to be taught anything unless you tell it on the cell phone,” he said in a podcast interview with Marc Maron.

“This is a broad stroke, but I think we’re dealing with it right now with Facebook. This is a misdirection that has happened where it’s given the wrong kind of confidence to this latest generation, I think.”

Ridley Scott has another new movie “House of Gucci” starring Lady GaGa, Adam Driver, Al Pacino, and Jared Leto. It received mixed reactions with the harsh criticisms coming from the Gucci family.

“I’ve never had one regret on any movie I’ve ever made. Nothing,” the director insisted. “I learned very early on to be your own critic. The only thing you should really have an opinion on is what you did. Walk away. Make sure you’re happy. And don’t look back. That’s me.”
