Young Lily Slater (Lillia Turner) feels the pressure in upcoming episodes of EastEnders as Stacey (Lacey Turner) begins to realise Jean (Gillian Wright) only makes progress when her granddaughter is around.

Following Jean’s breakdown, Stacey made the risky decision to take her out of hospital, convinced she’d get better back at home.

Stacey has, of course, struggled with caring for her mum.

We know Stacey has done this before when she was younger, but with three children to look after and run a business, things are much more chaotic.

Coming up, Stacey refuses to let Lily stay off school to look after Jean.

But when she sees how Jean’s mood lifts when Lily is around, Stacey apprehensively changes her mind.

The next day, Kat (Jessie Wallace) expresses her concern over Lily staying off school again.

She confronts Stace, telling her it isn’t right and suggests Lily stays with Martin (James Bye) for a few days.

When Lily returns from Martin’s, Stacey puts her foot down and tells her mum that Lily isn’t caring for her anymore.

But how will this impact Jean’s recovery?

Could things get worse if Jean refuses help from anyone except Lily?
