PIERS Morgan has revealed his close pal Amanda Holden bought role play outfits for him and his wife Celia for his 56th birthday.
The former Good Morning Britain host celebrated getting a year older with a family BBQ on Tuesday.
Despite it being his second lockdown birthday – Piers said it was made more exciting by a special birthday present from his Britain's Got Talent co-judge.
Writing in his Mail On Sunday diary, Piers said: "I’m 56 today, and due to Rule of Six being reintroduced, I was able to celebrate my second lockdown birthday with a lovely family barbecue in the garden, on the hottest March day since I was three, with all of my four children.
"It was a lot more fun than the very quiet affair last year at the height of the first coronavirus wave, not least because Amanda Holden sent me a Hugh Hefner smoking jacket and sailing cap with a bunny girl outfit for Celia."
Piers didn't give away any further details about how he spent his birthday night, but instead left readers to draw their own conclusions.
Amanda was one of the first of Piers' famous friends to come out in support of him when he quit GMB.
The radio host described the 56-year-old as "Marmite" and insisted they don't always share the same opinion – but called him a "good and loyal friend".
The 50-year-old star shared a throwback snap from when the two families holidayed together in the South of France last July.
Amanda wrote: "We've both been described as Marmite in our time.
"I don't always share the same opinions as him. But my goodness he's a good and loyal friend. Always there for each other."
There were hopes Piers could rejoin Amanda on the Britain's Got Talent panel this year – but a stumbling block was revealed yesterday.
Simon Cowell's close friend Sinitta says he'll risk his friendship with Prince Harry by bringing back Piers.
Rumours have been rife about his return since head judge Simon was spotted on a long walk in London with Piers.
