Dancing On Ice returned to our screens tonight with dance week.

This evening's edition of the show gave a nod to presenter Phillip Schofield after he announced he was gay on Friday.

Phillip had This Morning viewers in tears after he revealed he has been "coming to terms" with his sexuality after being married to wife Stephanie Lowe for 27 years.

In an emotional interview with best friend and co-host Holly Willoughby, Phil opened up about coming out as gay to his family.

Ahead of his emotional chat with Holly, Phillip took to Instagram to release a heartfelt statement.

Fans flooded Phillip's post with comments of support.

Dancing On Ice judge John Barrowman led the tributes to Phillip from those involved on the ITV ice skating show.

Fellow judge Ashley Banjo added: "So much Love and respect @schofe."
