Phillip Schofield saved the day on Thursday's This Morning, when his co-star Holly Willoughby found it impossible to read her lines without coughing.
Holly, 40, asked Phil, 59, to read her lines from the autocue when a tickle in her throat left her unable to properly speak on the show.
The presenting duo hosted a Spin to Win giveaway and were about to introduce a competition segment on the show before Holly erupted into a coughing fit.
Rushing to get a cup of water, she told Phil: “Excuse me! I’ve got a tickle in my throat."
"Are you alright?" Phil asked, before informing the Spin to Win winner: "You broke Holly in the meantime!"

Phil then tried to move on to the next segment, but Holly gestured to her throat, making it clear she couldn't continue until she had another drink.
"It's not gone," Holly said, only for a concerned Phil to ask for a second time: "Are you alright?"
"No, I really need to go cough and have a drink," said Holly, and asked Phil to read the lines on her behalf.
"Do you want me to do the whole lot? Okey dokey," he said, and read out a chunk of scripted content on the autocue before him.
Holly remained silent for the rest of the segment, before giving the camera a thumbs up to reassure viewers she was feeling okay.
Thankfully, moments later, the pair returned to present the next portion of the show, and Holly had managed to rid her throat of the niggling tickle.
